The library supports the design and creation of posters for scientific dissemination.
Templates
Various Cone Health branded formats are available; just download the size you want and edit it to suit your content. While these departments have templates represented, all elements are customizable for your specific needs.
- Nursing (Research, EBP, QI & Case Study)
- Pharmacy (Research)
- Triad Healthcare Network (Research)
- Internal Medicine Residency Program (Case Study)
If you don't see one that works for you, contact the library to discuss your specific requirements.

IMPORTANT: NOTE FOR NURSES
ALL posters representing Cone Health (work done at Cone Health and or by Cone Health nurses):
- Must use a Cone Health-approved template.
- Be reviewed and approved by the Poster Review Committee.
For an explanation of why this review process is required along with ways to ensure your poster meets the required standards see one of the following Constructing Posters to Meet Cone Health Nursing Excellence Standards tutorials.
- A brief set of modules in HealthStream, Poster Presentation.
- A PowerPoint slide deck with extensive notes provided
Clarifications:
- Posters presented at the Nursing Symposium sponsored by Cone Health are still subject to these requirements.
- Posters presented on a Cone Health campus, (e.g. internal Research Day or Magnet Showcase), are exempt from the requirements.
- However, if there is a chance the poster will subsequently be presented at another non-Cone campus event, then the approved template should be considered to prevent having to redo the poster.
PLAN AHEAD The review process could take up to 14 days and you will need time to get it printed prior to the event.
